“I had the absolute pleasure of unwinding at this beautiful vineyard. The establishment is family-owned and by far the most friendly and knowledgeable of all the area wineries. The smoked salmon plate was delightful with a spectacular presentation. As a solo traveler, I felt welcomed and appreciated. I was given a history of the vineyard and building, as well as background information regarding their distinctive Tidal Bay wine. Phenomenal experience! Of note, women of color will love the excellence of this winery! I highly recommend it.”

“We just want to say we ate at Lisa's last Friday for the first time. The food was delicious and the the service and waitress was exceptional. My husband had the Fish Cakes and Homemade Baked Beans with chow and a warm roll, he said they were the best he had ever had. The coconut cream pie was to die for and Homemade as well. We definitely will be going back. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. The prices are great!!! Go there, you will not be disappointed.”

“One of the best kept secrets in Nova Scotia. This little restaurant punches well above its weight, by maintaining popularity among people who want Canadian Chinese good, and myself who craves authentic Chinese. The cooks are from Chongqing, and make some of my favourites. Hard to go wrong with the MaPo “spicy” Tofu (麻婆豆腐), Suan Cai Yu (酸菜鱼) “Sichuan Fish soup with pickled mustard greens”, Garlic fried broccoli, and white rice. Plenty of other great dishes.

If you crave legit mainland Chinese food, this place is a must visit.

“for supper we went to A&W in Windsor ns . i had a double buddy burger no onions with extra spice ,onion rings with extra spices small root beer . chicken burger and poutine . great food and great service .you won't get this service in new minas when i was in new minas i ordered the buddy burger and onion rings. the buddy burger was dry and the few onion rings i got were pasty white. the staff looked like they needed sleep .what a big difference. thanks Windsor A&W .”
