“Whenever I am asked to recommend a restaurant in the Windsor area hands down Lisa's is my go to. A down home menu with generous portions, baked beans and fish cakes to rival my Gram Winnie Rafuse's (sorry Gram) and fast friendly and efficient staff. great service and a charming family friendly atmosphere. If you miss our grandmother or moms cooking, Lisa has your back. Take home a loaf of homemade brown bread or a homemade peanut bitter pie....you will very glad you did.”

“An Italian vibe in a Nova Scotian vineyard, with a focus on red wine and thin crust pizza. They have a courtyard which you can dine in year round, with a giant open fireplace for more than just ambiance. A view of Mt. Martock as well. My wife enjoys wine more than I do and really liked the red we had. The Italian Dip and thin crust pizza were both great. Service was excellent (it was very quiet at the time.)”

“An excellent restaurant/pub for getting together with friends and/or family. The owner and staff are very friendly and the menu items are delicious - some items a little more up-scale from regular pub fare. Menu items are always served in a timely manner and very hot. It seems that there is very good coordination between the serving staff and the kitchen.”

“We had a meet-up in Windsor, and being off-season, everything was closed on a Monday, but not the Spitfire! I had been here before a while back and was underwhelmed with the menu so was.a little dismayed. This time, it was just wonderful. It was warm and cozy, excellent service and the food was great. “This place has some of the best fish and chips I have ever had!!! There is nothing fancy about this place, it is just an old fashioned down home restaurant with amazing food!!!! “Drove down to Windsor from Sackville one day this summer to check them out. Had an amazingly good sandwich and a good latte. Only giving 4 because my latte was served in a paper cup. Great atmosphere too.”

“The food is phenomenal, the serving size is generous and we have enough left over food to feed us the rest of the day!I highly recommend the cream cheese wonton, they are light and fluffy with the right amount of crisp.The lemon chicken is the most delicious food I have ever had, the sauce is rich and creamy and the chicken is light and fluffy!”
