Restaurants in New Minas

“What an awesome day for a drive for the First Monday in April 2023. Sunshine, the the forest bones of winter shaking off the cold. Trip from Halifax to New Minas to Big Mike Pizza. Definitely worth the drive. Definitely our favourite pizza.”

“Great food! Great selection! Staff was wonderful!”

“Absolutely delicious food! Everything we have tried has been great, best Indian food in the valley”

“We ordered delivery last night and the delivery driver called to apologize for the delay- I didn’t even think it was taking long! He let us know he would be another 15 minutes and again apologized. When he got to our place, he gave us a free pop to make up for the wait. Again, I really didn’t think it was taking that long but I really appreciated his customer service!! He went above and beyond”

“First time on Tuesday. Great taste, helpful and friendly staff. Super fast service. Great Canadian product and restaurant.”

“One of the best ramen I've had.”

“Wow! We stopped in for supper and were really impressed. Upon server recommendation, I ordered the Breakfast Poutine. Not something I’d normally choose… but it was incredible! It was the perfect blend of golden home fries, crispy bacon pieces, gooey cheese curds, and perfectly-cooked eggs, all topped with delicious hollandaise sauce. I have a new fav menu item!! Our server, Nora, was immediately welcoming. She greeted us warmly and made our visit cozy and enjoyable. Amazing food, atmosphere, and excellent customer service from Nora. Really impressed with this location and this visit.”

“The New Minas location has the best service around! The staff are above and beyond friendly and quick with their service, 10/10”

“My favourite "fast food" place. Food is fresh and always made to my taste. Their service and suggestions are on-point for making a flavourful and balanced choice. Excellent in all areas!!!”

“I am gluten Free as well as Dairy Free. The staff are so friendly and understanding of my allergy. The service is so thoughtful and caring. I feel so safe to eat there. The staff pay attention to detail. Great job.”

“Food was really fresh and tasty. Good value for money too. Waitress was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend”

“I've had a lot of fun at open mic over the last few months. I hope it continues, it's great to see so many positive faces come out to jam and have a great time. New Minas always needs more of this and Jesse has certainly catered to as many as he can.”

“We had a great time at our boy's party this weekend thanks to Cotton Tale, and 100% recommend for young children's parties!!”

“Absolutely delicious! Was welcomed by friendly staff and lots of smiles. Keep up the great work. Thank you.”

“I came in for a couple slices , sat down, and I was enjoying my meal, then dany, one of their workers came and checked up on my meal and gave me a complimentary donair sauce for my last slice. That’s service , that’s the definition of a valued dedicated employee. Great work Dany, love you buddy. Thanks to the rest of the staff for the great food as always.”

“Absolutely the best British fish and chips. I do not like crispy chips and these are the perfect softer British chips. The fish is always fresh and perfect. Highly recommend these British fish and chips. I can’t wait til it starts up again this year.”

“I enjoyed the Little Dipper from the lunch menu! Jessica S provided fantastic service with a smile. :)”
