I've had a lot of fun at open mic over the last few months. I hope it continues, it's great to see so many positive faces come out to jam and have a great time. New Minas always needs more of this and Jesse has certainly catered to as many as he can.
Great sound system, great bar staff, great prices. Performers of all skill levels are welcomed to the stage with open arms. A great place to try your hand at performing for the first time, play some pool with live music in the background, or, if you work in a bar/restaurant, come after work for their industry night special - domestic beers at the low cost of $3.75.
Very welcoming Open Mic. Good sound. I love the idea of the hat!

Dooly's is a highly recommended restaurant with a friendly and accommodating atmosphere. The bar staff, including Cass and Anjali, are praised for their excellent service and drink suggestions. The restaurant offers a quiet and clean environment, perfect for socializing with friends over a game of pool. The only minor downside mentioned is the occasional country music, but it is well-balanced with some quiet rock.
