Stopped by for a late lunch last Saturday and ended up staying almost two hours because the booth by the window was just too comfortable to leave. The hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy was the kind of homestyle plate you don't get much anymore, hearty without being heavy. Stopped by for a late Sunday morning breakfast and they let my dog hang out with us on the patio, which pretty much sealed the deal for me. The staff brought out a water bowl without even being asked and checked on him twice during our meal. Had the biscuits and gravy and it was easily one of the better plates I've had in Kentville, nice and hot with real sausage gravy.
