This is more of a large gift store with a small cafe as an afterthought. However, the prices are reasonable and sometimes even VERY good. There is a large variety of products available.

The food is good but severely overpriced. This is a beautiful store to browse through however al.ost all of the merchandise is from China. I wish they would have an abundance of locally made products for sale here instead but most people don't seem to care if they are purchasing local in order to support our own people.

Wheatons Cider Press Cafe is a well established and beloved cafe in the Annapolis Valley. Located in Berwick, Nova Scotia, just off the highway and the perfect place to stop for travelers looking for a home cooked lunch and yummy baked goods. The food is really thoughtfully prepared, and the menu has a great selection of sandwhiches, breads, soups, pies, and salads. The curried carrot soup, the tuna melt, and the chicken pot pie are my favorite and usually the favorite of those I dine with. Thankfully, they remain on their evolving menu. Definitely leave room for dessert because they offer one of the most extensive dessert menus around. This is especially great if you just want coffee, tea, and a dessert. You will feel like you are in Grandma's kitchen! Our server was truly exceptional! He had his hands full with us and handled it so well. He was charming, friendly, well-mannered, thoughtful, funny, and did a great job serving us! I think my favorite part of dining here is the chance to purchase backed goods or a meal and take it home or shop in the exquisite retail shop just outside the cafe. The smells, the items... it's all very cozy and a great location to get together with friends and family. Loved it.

Had lunch here with the inlaws and joked about how this place always made me feel young. I wasn't wrong, but I think the blue-hairs know where the good eats are. We had Monte Cristo sandwiches, carrot soup, the dill pickle soup of the day, cheeseburger pizza and a beef and cheddar wrap that also had hot pepper jelly and chopped walnuts. The service was super, the place was busy and the food was good. I'm a great cook and fussy about food, I appreciated that I ordered a beef and cheddar rap and they surprised me with chopped walnuts and ?️ jelly.

Went with a friend, weSpent $35 for 2 tiny soup bowls that were mostly broth with 2 salads. Food was OK in flavor. Left hungry and got takeout on way home.
