It is a shame, this used to be our occasional go-to place for take-out. Spring rolls used to be fresh vegetables and delicious, the past few times quality seems to be haphazard. This time we ordered spring rolls, we don't really know what was in them, but it was not fresh vegetables and they were burned. Not just kind of too brown but burned. This is one of the few restaurants that when I go, I get the exact same order as last time. The weekly special and fried won tons! Totally delicious!
Stopped in last Saturday afternoon while passing through Bridgewater on a road trip from Quebec, and Egg Roll King completely blew me away. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh, nothing like the soggy ones you sometimes get at other Chinese takeout spots. The woman at the counter was so friendly and patient while I figured out what to order, which I really appreciated as a first-timer. If I'm ever back in Nova Scotia I'm making a detour specifically for this place.
