I don't know how this place has such a high rating. I may not be from Nova Scotia but I know a Donair shouldn't be drowning in sauce to the point it looks like a giant puddle of ejacultate. The guy asked if I want sauce on the pita or on the side he was very friendly. I should have said on the side but I trusted that a person working thinking that he must make them all the time. I was a little nervous when the place was empty, I should have went down the street where all the locals were. Drove all the way back to New Germany and opened it up just to be absolutely dissapointed. I could get a better Donair back in Ontario. I only went there because of the high google review and I regret it.

My husband and I ordered an XLarge pizza with light sauce, hamburger, ham, and extra cheese. This was THE WORST PIZZA Ever!!! It was so overcooked and tough that you could hardly chew it. The ham was so burnt on the top you near chocked on the little pieces, and there was barely any cheese, let alone extra!!!! Will not come back, which is unfortunate because I would like to support local business, but not with pizza like that. I feel ill from eating it and am out like$30 bucks!!!

We were in town for a hockey tournament and needed a bite to eat between games. Found this gem of a place! Staff was amazing and accommodating to the 5 of us. Food was amazing with huge portions. We also left behind a jacket and knowing we were from out of town they offered for us to pick up after hours. We will be back for sure!

We visited home from the NWT for the month of September and IOS satisfied our Donair Fix every single night! Their donair plates are fantastic and we love the Bubba Subs too. The workers came to expect our calls every night to the point where there was one day we forgot to say we wanted extra cheese on our donair plate and they knew to call us to make sure we didn't forget to ask for that as we'd asked for it every other time. I placed one order by walking in. The place is dated but I don't think their goal to to be a sit-in restaurant. They excel at pumping pur delicipus donairs and garlic fingers and that's all that matters to us. I think they're doing a great job of filling the shoes KOD stepped out of many years ago. See you next year IOS Greek!

Worst pizza experience in my life. I went in yesterday during the town festival, and asked how long until a fresh pie came out. There was a single slice sitting there, which was so old that it was almost black on top. After telling me to come back in 20 minutes, I did so. My son and I were served 2 slices, one of which was the one I described above. It was so old that it literally snapped in half while folding it.
Who serves people that stuff, and charges full price for it? Not only will I never go back there, but I'll actively discourage people from eating there in the future.
We live in NWT and look forward to a good (number of) feeds of donair when we make it home to Bridgewater. IOS is our go to for the best donairs, garlic fingers and my husbands fave, the donair plate. We order to go or delivery and never disappointed. Wish there was better parking but that's the Towns fault not tge restaurant.
