We took the #2 Highway from Truro to Halifax in order to stop at Brookfield Bakery. I have many wonderful memories of going to your bakery as a child. Thank you for continuing to bake delicious treats and bring back fond memories.
Great place with a wide selection of freshly baked goods. I loved the coffee, cinnamon rolls, and oat & date cookies. They also had a lovely assortment of gifts— I picked up some jams and relishes as presents for friends
My second visit to Brookfield Bakery. First experience went well fresh homemade bread lemon tarts with homemade crust were remarkable. Only The second trip was disappointing. the brownies did not have the Cocao flavoring, the pan buns were over cooked (hard) and should never have been given to us in that condition. The homemade bread still wonderful hence the 4 stars. I probably will not return the pricing is a bit too much as well.
