Really great experience. Huge lobsters, attentive staff (each one of them!), awesome lobster mac & cheese and bacon wrapped scallops.
Food was okay but not spectacular. I had fish and chips at several places throughout the province and this was probably the worst one. It just didn't live up to its hipe for taste and price. The staff were nice. The lineup to order was a bit long, but they were having trouble with their machines. When we were there, there were just too many screaming kids, which made the experience not great. I'll probably skip this one next time.I'm in NS.

What an incredible gem of a spot. My husband and I both had the fish and chips! Very fresh and the pride of cooking was evident. Such friendly service - we spoke with about 4 different staff members and some were able to come meet our sweet lab/golden Levi. He loves people and loved the attention!! I would absolutely recommend the lobster pound! The lobster roll looked generous too!
Hall's Harbour is a smaller harbour and in our opinion one of the definte highlights of our East Coast trip thus far! The views of The Bay of Fundy are stunning and I found some quartz stones at low tide. Thank you for the welcoming and delicious visit!!!

I have been going to the lobster pound since I was a little girl and always looked forward to the amazing view with great food! Our nephew just moved to Nova Scotia from Alberta and has never had fresh seafood, so I got him and of course ourselves a seafood taster, and omg!! The food is of course perfectly cooked and seasoned well! Our nephew was scared to eat seafood and now he wants to eat it every night!
10 out of 10!

What an awesome spot! The scenery alone is worth the trip. The menu is an extensive (two types of chowder and lobster roll we're on offer when I visited) but what they do, they do very very well. I had classic lobster roll with chips. You know the protein is fresh when they don't dress it up with a lot of mayonnaise or seasoning. They get it straight off the boat when they pull into Harbor and put it on a plate in a Buttery Toasted Bun. This place is Aces and I will return
Beautiful spot to see the tides. We were there at lowest and enjoyed a lovely lunch

The service here was excellent, Margo and Holly were absolutely amazing! The fish and chips were fresh and not greasy at all, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her lobster, so it was a win-win all around.

Great food, great staff. Great view
This was a really neat place. Decent food and people. Great location. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was that I don't think it quite lived up to the hype. Perhaps that was the trap. Had we happened upon this place randomly with no expectations, it's probably a 5 star find. But this was a key planned visit for us, and it was about as good as a number of other places we stopped at. Still though, you should go if you're headed that way already.

On the dock surrounded by the ocean has to be the best place on the planet to enjoy fresh caught seafood. The Lobster Pound is just that and the food is even better than the view. Fresh lobster off the boat and into the restaurant live tanks. I had the lobster Mac and Cheese and must say it changed my views on lobster. Sitting literally on the edge of the water seeing the lobster boats added to the dining experience. The staff are great and caring, the atmosphere is something I cannot express with words.

Have company coming so decided to try Halls Harbour restaurant for traditional seafood. Got the lobster roll and was very disappointed. Cold dry bland bun with a bit of lettuce is not what I call an example of Nova Scotia cuisine. Top it off with a scoop of tasteless potato salad and I give it a two out of ten. A little more effort with a grilled bun from a reputable bakery and some effort in presentation would go a long way
If it's busy, it can be loud from conversations, but that wasn't a concern. A big group left and it became really quiet. Many places to sit and eat - in, out, up, down. Even though you pay at the counter before hand, they continue to check on you while you enjoy your meals.
Second time there. Awesome place and best Chowder ever! Highly recommend!
