Fish & Chips Restaurants near Chester, NS

“Excellent food. The owner has just taken over and they don’t have a full menu or full service yet. Time will tell. It was cold in the restaurant but, to be fair, it is off-season and they are just getting started. The food was surprisingly very good. The spring rolls were perfectly cooked and had a light spice to them. You don’t need dipping sauce with them, they are that good. You have a choice between deep fried or pan fried scallops and we chose pan fried. They were perfectly cooked; not over or under done.

I think as they get more experience and get better set up with a full menu, this will be a destination for good seafood and any other food they add to their menu.

I would recommend this place even with the hiccups. You will be pleasantly surprised.“

“Had clams and chip, My mom had fish and chips and my husband had Seafood Chowder.
My husband recieved his chowder first. We however had to wait almost 15 more minutes for ours. This has happened twice to us. All your food should be serve to your table all at once. My husband was done his before we even got ours. And I always thought seafood chowder consists of some fish,clams, scallops and lobster. But when my husband received his it had lots of fish a few clams and potatoes.
As for mom and the fish and clams were good but the fries weren't done enough.. our waitress however was very pleasant.“
