“Most of the food is good, or very good, but the chowder is excellent. They do have rotating specials, so keep an eye on them, and drink prices are pretty standard for the area.

The atmosphere, vibe, and decor are exceptional though. Nova Scotia's oldest pub carries weight in this case.

We came here first as tourists a few years ago, but over about a dozen visits I can say that this place is very steady. It never blows you away, but also never lets you down.”

“A friend and I drove down from the city to visit this tea shop. What a wonderful experience. The owners are lovely friendly people. They took the time to explain different teas as well as their favourites. The scones and tea were delicious. “Very creative and tasty savory hand pies. The selection is slightly limited but I believe it varies day by day. We picked up four pies for four of us, plus some drinks, and sat outside for lunch after a nice walk on the Dynamite trail.”
