We decided to visit the island on a whim today with our kids and didn’t bring enough food, so we started feeling a bit anxious on the ferry. Luckily, as we walked up the hill, the little shop happened to be just opening—perfect timing!
We ordered burgers, fries, and homemade ice tea—and wow, everything was way better than we expected! It wasn’t just because we were hungry; you could really taste the care and heart that Patrick put into preparing the food.

I am giving this place 5 stars because for what it is, it delivers well. The food is basic - but tasty and reasonably priced for being on an island where everything must be taken over by boat! Lovely service, beautiful view, and very clean washroom. I encourage the owner to post a phone number so prospective clients can check in about changes in opening hours, or order in advance. He told us the phone number was online, but I think he is mistaken...
We came for a day trip and was the only place to eat, he was very friendly and the food was great! He let us take the bikes so we didn't have to walk. Very helpful for info about the island. Will definitely stop back the next time we come here.
