Great spot, wish they had a non-alcoholic option (even pop or flavored would be good)
Very knowledgeable staff and nice beers. Probably just me, but the logo gives off a winery vibe rather than delicious beer!
Tanner’s little taproom is a perfect spot to visit! Staff are friendly and super knowledgeable about their brews. If you are new to mead, give their dry sparkling meads a try. Highly recommend their Hops & Honey or Haskap meads. Fill a growler or take cans to go! Don’t forget if you purchase at least 6 cans you get 10% off.
Very chill little brewpub. Good selection of beers and even some meads. Friendly bartender let us sample some before buying.
I love your Pilsner! Can I get this beer in Ontario?
I had the pleasure to stop by this quaint brewery the other day, with my dog Jinx. They were very accommodating, pleasant and friendly. I bought 4 different beer, the Irish Red was delicious, the best Bitter was good, the English IPA was great. Will definitely try to get back.
This place is a hidden gem with some of the most unique beers in the province. Staff are great too, I come as often as I can!
Went into to enjoy a beer and server was rude and while drinking our beer she was rude to ladies asking questions about the beer. Beer was ok
Grace is an absolute dream they work Sunday Monday and Tuesday before the summer season. It was our first time in Tanners taproom even though we have been indulging in their award-winning beer for years (dog friendly taproom😊). We will be back many more times we love the beer and the hospitality was spot on. Thanks Dan for a great beer but thanks even more for giving Grace a job that showcase amazing Nova Scotia charm and hospitality.
My partner and I visited the brewery yesterday. The brewery has great beer and a cute atmosphere! The only reason I gave it 2 stars is poor service. Our server was not very warm and friendly. She just looked at us with a blank stare when we arrived. She did not offer us any tastings or talk about the beers or gave us any information unless we asked. We felt that we were an inconvenience. There was only one other patron in the room.
I wanted to share the experience because this was the second place we visited in Chester that day and both experiences were not as expected.

Great little brewery with a great selection of good quality beers.
Quality brews and nice atmosphere. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable
Decent beer. Rude and unfriendly server / bartender.
Very nice place to sit, and have a drink. As a non-beer drinker, I was thrilled to see they had Mead on tap - with the opportunity to taste before committing to a glass. This is my first time in NS to see Mead on tap. We also enjoyed the bonus of games at every table to play while enjoying beverages.
Would 100% recommend, and would visit again when in the area. Thanks for a great experience!
Great beer and amazing staff!
