The Rope Loft does a terrific job with food and the service. The 3 ladies that run the front of the house are outstanding and fast! The kitchen gets out delicious hot food in a timely manner.

Parking: Limited number of spots dedicated to the resturant but you can park on any of the nearby streets

I had the opportunity to go to the Rope Loft on a date with someone special. He highly recommended the chowder. We went mid- afternoon and the waitresses were very kind and accommodating. The view is beautiful from there. We both had a bowl of chowder and it was all seafood. It was one of the best chowders I’ve had all year. Thank you for making my first experience amazing.

On the weekend, myself and 2 friends enjoyed a lunch on your lower outside deck. Shortly after we paid, the server came over to basically say, that there were people waiting for a table and asked us to leave. I was so shocked by this. When we walked through the restaurant, there was only a couple people there,one of my friends glanced at the reservation list and there wasnt any names listed. Also there was lots of seating inside. I also noticed at least one empty table on the upper deck. It will be a long while before I return.
PROS: Had the most amazing lunch!! My haddock melted in my mouth & that Cesar salad was one of the best I've ever had, & I've had many in some high end restaurants, it has a little something different & welcoming in it to put it to my #1 spot. The view from the patio was stunning. Will be back again for the food & atmosphere. Cheers to the chef who was there Friday Sept 6th!!
CONS: Parking, not so great and had to walk a country mile. But after the great meal we had it was worth the walk ;)

Neat little restaurant with a beautiful patio on the water. Nice looking menu. Food was very good for others in the party. I would not come here again as a Celiac as the menu clearly states they do not have a separate prep area or protocol to limit cross contamination. Sadly, "gluten friendly" is not a thing.
