We went to the new Stretch Diner tonight for supper. Here's the scoop. The milkshakes are delicious, we had the chocolate and coffee ones, so good. We had the clubhouse with fries, excellent. The gravy on the side for the fries is a must. Chicken fingers and fries, my son cleaned the basket and he is a picky eater and loved it. Excellent food. The owner has just taken over and they don’t have a full menu or full service yet. Time will tell. It was cold in the restaurant but, to be fair, it is off-season and they are just getting started. The food was surprisingly very good. The spring rolls were perfectly cooked and had a light spice to them. You don’t need dipping sauce with them, they are that good. You have a choice between deep fried or pan fried scallops and we chose pan fried. They were perfectly...
Excellent fish and chips (wow, their batter is super crunchy). We also got the samosas to go and they are delish. Don't go for the decor, go for the food and the friendly service. So worth it.
