Nice resto, friendly staff, great service. Regarding the menu, I've sampled many dishes. A standout is their burger, inexpensive at $6 and delicious. I ordered a "traditional" burger with green relish, mustard, grilled onions, and a large, fresh, perfectly-cooked homemade ground beef patty ... like the ones served at your classic 60's roadside diner ! Their spaghetti ? and meat sauce was delicious, as well as the pan fried haddock with fries and cole slaw. Onion rings were great, pizza was alright although I prefer thin crust. The homemade Acadian "frigot" soup was very yummy. The Acadian meat pie was okay, but I prefer my mom's tourtière. Fish cakes were tasty but not enough fish in the mixture ratio. The homemade blueberry cake with heated buttery caramelly sauce was to die for (I had mine à la mode with vanilla ice cream) ?. The only sour note on the menu was the turkey dinner which was well under par ... mashed potatoes were thick and pasty as opposed to whipped 'n fluffy, peas 'n carrots were bland, cranberry sauce was a Kraft single serving (not homemade), stuffing was tasty but the texture was thick 'n pasty like the mashed potatoes, the turkey was good but the gravy was so-so.

The meat pie was delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Good gravy! I don't know why, I can't recall if the menu says this, or my expectations were just set somehow. Like some outside force whispering into my brain, the cranberry sauce will be homemade, the cranberry sauce will be homemade. It wasn't.

We spent a few nights in this charming coastal town. We had a lovely old fashioned breakfast here, but there is zero Ambiance or Decor, and while the food was enjoyable, the coffee tasted like it came out of a vending type machine. My espresso tasted of chicory and chocolate and was undrinkable for me! My husbands cafe-au-lait tasted exactly the same. I need my coffee to taste like it was made from coffee beans!

We had breakfast here as a server at another restaurant told us it was the best breakfast in town. We were not disappointed, food was delicious, and the menu even had balogna as a protein option, which can be so hard to find. The server was fantastic, friendly, and went above and beyond. I didn't catch her name, but she was fantastic.

Ordered the roast turkey dinner for 21$ to take out. Food was cold, had canned peas for the veggies ? the side salad literally consists of one slice of tomato, one slice of cucumber,.and a lettuce leaf broken up. No dressing. Bun was chewy. Simply an atrocicus meal not worth more than 8$.. more like a hospital cafeteria meal. I will post pictures

The gentleman at the petro gas station recommended this restaurant. The food is excellent with large portions, prices were not expensive and the service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We have eaten 3 meals here starting with lunch , next day supper and today breakfast. All
