“Cute spot with some neat purchase options. Had a fresh made lemon honey cruller and let me tell you how delicious this thing was. Lots of people were coming in for drinks and a couple of people sitting around drinking coffees of some sort and the enjoying the atmosphere. Ethan who was behind the counter at that time was a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend stopping into this place while out and about. Definitely somewhere I will be stopping into when passing through this way again.”
“Nice resto, friendly staff, great service. Regarding the menu, I've sampled many dishes. A standout is their burger, inexpensive at $6 and delicious. I ordered a "traditional" burger with green relish, mustard, grilled onions, and a large, fresh, perfectly-cooked homemade ground beef patty ... like the ones served at your classic 60's roadside diner ! Their spaghetti ? and meat sauce was delicious, as well as the pan fried haddock with fries and cole slaw. Onion rings were great, pizza was alright although I prefer thin crust. The homemade Acadian "frigot" soup was very yummy. The Acadian meat pie was okay, but I prefer my mom's tourtière. Fish cakes were tasty but not enough fish in the mixture ratio. The homemade blueberry cake with heated buttery caramelly sauce was to die for (I had mine à la mode with vanilla ice cream) ?. The only sour note on the menu was the turkey dinner which was well under par ... mashed potatoes were thick and pasty as opposed to whipped 'n fluffy, peas 'n carrots were bland, cranberry sauce was a Kraft single serving (not homemade), stuffing was tasty but the texture was thick 'n pasty like the mashed potatoes, the turkey was good but the gravy was so-so.”
“I had a 12 inch pepperoni, mushroom & green pepper ... generous fresh toppings but I prefer thin crust which is not on the menu. It's ok but I probably won't reorder ?”
“Ate here twice in one day. What a treat! The staff is inviting and knowledgeable. The food is outstanding. The drinks are delicious. The ambiance is perfect. One of the best meals I've had in my life.”
“We stopped here for ice cream in the summer and wow their portions are huge! A large ice cream cone is about a foot tall and the pup cup is bigger than a medium sunday from DQ! Very decent on their pricing too. I would highly recommend stopping here on your journey through the Cabot Trail.”
“Best burger in town ... fresh locally raised beef cooked just right, huge 6 oz patty, tasty bun, and I love that they have the traditional fixings and condiments offered in a classic 50's, 60's roadside diner : mustard, green relish & grilled onions. The fries were great too ... and so are the local microbrewery ales they serve.”
“Had veggie pizza from here. It’s the one of the few places in the city to buy pizza . Taste wise it was good but it’s bit pricey. Staff was helpful and pizza was ready in average time of 10-15”
“Very happy with the service here at Robins in Cheticamp. We wanted to get a small bit and a coffee during our Cabot Trail. Had a big line up, but they served us quickly.Employees were very calm and polite. Coffee and the sandwich were good.”
“Friendly staff, attractive, dining room, great service, and a wide selection of food and the portion sizes of very generous. What I did not like? All the seafood had cheese and I am dairy intolerant, and the vegetables have zero flavour.”
“The most incredible Butter Tart I've ever experienced in my entire life.If you're in the area, do not hesitate to stop.I would wait in a line of 100+ people for one of these again ?”
