This restaurant can easily do better. It has a nice view of the sunset but the windows are dirty so it's difficult to really enjoy it and take a few photos. The service was well below what we have experienced so far in Canada. The menu is quite nice and the prices are quite reasonable. The chardonnay was very good and the dishes were OK value for money.
I have to admit that some of the reviews had me questioning whether I should go there or not.....so happy that the live music enticed us to try it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the locals at the next table made us part of their group and food was great, in fact the fish chowder was the best yet on our trip. Best burger in town ... fresh locally raised beef cooked just right, huge 6 oz patty, tasty bun, and I love that they have the traditional fixings and condiments offered in a classic 50's, 60's roadside diner : mustard, green relish & grilled onions. The fries were great too ... and so are the local microbrewery ales they serve.
