“We ate there today December 28th for lunch . So impressed with the staff service and menu. All 4 of us truly enjoyed our meal . The lobster roll was amazing and the presentation of the food was excellent. The homemade ice cream was to die for . Truly we will be back again soon . Prices were really reasonable . “Any stop in Barrington Passage must include a visit to JB’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant! I initially went because the online reviews of the food were enticing. Once there, I was moved to discover that this woman-owned business is staffed by family members who are keeping alive the legacy of a Miss Ally fisherman, lost to the sea in a 2013 tragedy that claimed five young men from this area. Two things to love about the Maritimes are the fresh seafood (simply cooked, and bursting with flavour) and the friendly locals (in my opinion, Maritimers are the most genuine people in Canada). You will get both of these in abundance at JB’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant.”

“Saw this place on so many videos about where to eat in Nova Scotia. Happy we were able to pay a visit and try it out. Captain Kat's did not disappoint. We had delicious halibut burger with creamed lobster and a nice lobster alfredo. Service was friendly and personable. Would visit again next time I am in the area.”
