heard great things about Callisters so decided to finally stop in but this will be first and last time going there. Althou they were busy we were directed to sit at a booth unfort no one came to take our order or at least acknowledge we were there even thou multiple waitresses served tables arnd us. After sitting patiently for 20 min we decided to leave. Informed casher on our way out why we were leaving but she didnt seemed bothered or apologize.

I WAS CRAVING SCALLOPS FOR THREE WEEKS ,, VEGETABLES WAS FRESH, SAUTE SCALLOP 6OZ, PEPERMINT TEA, WAS GREAT,SERVICE WAS GREAT!!!!!!

We just had a party of ten, the food was great, healthy servings, everyone walked away stuffed.
Our server was awesome, she has a great memory, and a very pleasant personality. I didn't get her name, but she was the young lady who has red hair.

Food was good and staff were friendly but the delay while waiting for our food was so long we almost ready to leave. No reason was offered and the food did not make it for the delays

Had a very negative experience. Waited for over an hour for our food. Two people ordered the fried chicken dinner; the chicken was frozen in the middle, not cold, frozen.
Turkey dinner was completely flavourless. Were not offered so much as a free biscuit, got no discount.
Server just said there was nothing he could do.
Will not be back.

I was told, for a good home cooked style meal, this is the place to go, however, I wasn't overly impressed, I won't say I disliked it. Service was wonderful. They were/are advertising for a cook, don't know if that was the issue and other staff step up to the challenge, but I found the food overly salty; I'm not a salt user, but my spouse Loves to use salt and she agreed with me. It was my first visit, won't say it will be my last. If somewhat dissatisfied the next time, I will not be returning. Thank you to the staff for the lovely conversation 😊

Stopped for ice cream tonight the girl working wasnt friendly then proceeded to spray windex beside me as I ate my ice cream, not impressed. Won't be back.

The food was great. First place I have had a mushroom melt burger where they use raw mushrooms on their burger.

This is a typical family type diner with a typical family diner experience. The service is friendly, the seating is quaint and the food is tasty. The salad i ordered was very filling and fresh, with NO deli meats! The Newfoundland Turkey Mess is a fun meal. Also filling with tasty sides and fried turkey fillets (unusual, for me at least). I recommend a stop here for a meal you won't regret. Get an ice cream after!

Been here a couple times now on my travels. Good food, comes out hot and is cooked well. Breakfast and burgers and sandwiches among other things available. Good local diner that cares about the quality of the dishes served. Will definitely be back again.

Not my first time eating here, however it will be my LAST! Stopped in as had a craving for fresh deep fried clams for a couple of weeks now and was told that they had a good order and were good. I even called before hand to make sure they had some as I know they are seasonal. Got to the location, it wasn't that busy, about half a dozen tables with at least three waitresses on. Sign says wait to be seated then you are told to pick you own seat. We were seated and only took a moment the hostess, a young man, came and asked for our drink order. Then it took another 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order. I ordered the clams and fries. My partner ordered from the all day breakfast menu. This took more than 20 minutes to make. When my order was placed in front of me half of the plate had peas and carrots and the other half was fries with only half a handful of clams that were VERY overcooked! I was NOT HAPPY for the price they are asking for them with amount and quality!!!! I will NOT be going back to this restaurant.

Our waitress was so nice and the food was amazing! They have some really decent gluten free options in case anyone was wondering! We will be back again!
