Good food, coffee was just ok. Had a chicken wrap, and it was warmed on the outside, which I liked. The desert was too sweet for me, but if you like sweet, try the warm brownie with ice cream.

Ingredients freezer burnt and old. Not as advertised. A cheese slice is not cheddar. Miracle whip is not mayo.

Slow service and mediocre food. Likey will not last. It is too bad. The former Root in the same location was very good. Need more staff and training.

Nice little spot off the main highway on our journey to Halifax from Digby. The server put us in the corner which was nice considering they had Bingo night coming up in 30 minutes. We were happy with our seafood and salads with some fresh Ginger Ale.

My partner and I always try spinach dip wherever we go, this way by far the best spinach dip we’ve ever had! The chips are made in house and they are also to die for the Thai bites, mint haddock tips and sweet potato fries, also beef barley soup?! AMAZING.

We have eaten there a couple of times. Both visits were very pleasant and the food was great. Last time was the special of Liver & onions, it was cooked to perfection, generous serving size and very well priced. I will definitely have liver again. The staff here are also very friendly.

This restaurant is a little gem of a place to eat. I highly recommend everyone to visit. The food is amazing and prices are great value. Also the staff are so helpful and friendly. If in the area I'd recommend you keep an eye out and drop in for a bit to eat.

My parents and I tried this place for Father's day. It was recommended by some friends of my mother.We had reservations, so there wasn't any wait to be seated. The staff were friendly and the server even laughed at my dad's lame "dad joke". Being Father's Day, it was quite busy, but our drinks and food came out quickly. My parents ordered from the senior's menu. Liver & onions for dad, and a turkey dinner for mom. They both enjoyed their meals. I had the club with fries. The fries were cooked well, my only complaint is there was a bit too much mayo on my sandwich.Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the meals.
