Coffee is decent, but the experience isn’t worth the price. The coffee itself isn’t bad, just way overpriced for what it is. The café’s ventilation feels outdated, so the whole space gets stuffy really fast. What surprised me most is they wouldn’t even let me use the cinnamon shaker myself — the staff insisted on keeping it behind the counter.
Overall, not the welcoming vibe you expect from a local café in HRM. Definitely won’t be returning.

Absolutely fantastic cortado with the featured espresso at the moment back in October when we visited (escape). Cortado was sweet, bright, fruity and delicious with smooth microfoam texture. We loved the breakfast sandwich and scone too. The overall atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming - we would highly recommend overall!

The cafe is a short walk from the ferry terminal, they have oat, almond and soy milk for coffees and have a vegan breakfast sandwich. The space is awesome, cozy, casual and welcoming. It is clearly a loved space by the community.
The breakfast sandwich has a chickpea egg, which I'm normally not a fan of but the sandwich had enough going on that I didn't mind it. I added their house made sausage patty to it which definitely upgraded it! The tomato jam is awesome on it.
The coffee is awesome, one of the best I've had in Halifax. If you love sitting in cafes this one needs to go on your list.

It's popular and homey, but I found the drip coffee is very acidic, causes soy milk to curdle even when iced. The cookies also had bits in them (nut shells?) that I couldn't chew. I would recommend TIBS instead. But the latte was fine.

First visit, won't be my last. Ordered an iced latte, perfect! Also a few treats, coffee cake and scone were delicious and not tasting overly sweet. There was an egg bite, pizza flavor, but I gave that to my taxi guy. It looked fabulous, so I need to go back and get another lol Service and atmosphere is excellent. I work around the corner and see many walking by me with their cups :)
