Best coffee shop in Dartmouth hands-down
Decent place overall, I loved the decor of the place as it had lord of the rings playing on a retro TV. They sadly do not have wifi which might make anyone who wants to do work there struggle a bit. Nice cafe though aand friendly staff.
Cozy little gem with great service and delicious coffee! Small spot but thoughtfully decorated to feel warm and inviting. I can imagine it gets quite busy, yet the staff remain friendly and attentive. While I was in line, the person ahead of me ordered an iced Americano, but the barista accidentally made a hot one. Without hesitation, they remade it with a smile! I ordered the iced vanilla latte, and it was absolutely delicious—not watered down like you sometimes find elsewhere. Will definitely be back!
I have to say I was a little disappointed with my visit today. I’ve been to this cafe a handful of times the vibes there are great I love all the additional things they sell and I’ve enjoyed some delicious drinks. Not sure if it was an off day on the kitchen but I ordered the chicken caesar wrap and the chicken was so tough and like fibrous it was borderline inedible and I couldn’t even taste the dressing until I got to the bottom of the wrap where it pooled at the bottom. I was starving so I ate the first half (after picking out most of the chicken) but could not be bothered to eat the other half which was as basically just barely dressed lettuce and big croutons without the chicken. My boyfriend ordered the bagel and lox (which he eats everywhere he goes) and said it mediocre (“nothing to write home about”). We have been going to all the cafes in Halifax and Dartmouth and I thought this place would be a big contender but I’m just disappointed and still hungry :-( however I would like to say though we didn’t get any of the pastries they looked delicious, the drinks we got were good (not top tier but not bad), and the staff and store were bright and welcoming!
They always have 2-4 rotating vegan treats on their display. Usually one is gluten free. They also have a vegan breakfast sandwich available with a chickpea egg, housemade seitan sausage and vegan cheese. Everything I've had has been really tasty. Staff are really friendly! Also a very queer friendly place!
very good food and friendly staff
Some of the best coffee in the city, the food's always great, and the atmosphere is so fun and cozy.
I recently dropped a coffee in the cafe and the staff were SO kind and helpful. (If you're reading this thanks again!)

Service was fine but not enough to make up for how awful the food is; there were a ton of coffee grinds in my latte and the soup (which was overwhelmingly salt) had a bunch of zucchini which wasn't listed with the rest of the ingredients
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions you shouldn't eat here, cross contamination city
