“Been there 2 times during my holiday in Halifax, wish I found them earlier I would have go every morning. Food is simply amazing, there is a nice warm little vibe in there, everyone is smiling and you can feel they are happy to serve you. The tall guy who took our order was so nice, can feel a great human being when you see one. Their bagel are the best breakfast I had in 6 weeks in N.S, the cinnamon roll are a MUST taste. I wish the plating of the duck dish would be a bit different. We couldn't enjoy the sauce much without ordering the sourdough bread. Also if spoons were provided without asking as the sauces go to waste and we cannot enjoy them with the fork so the amazing sauces are wasted.“

“Scanway is the utmost in class and quality ! I had planned a party of 50 peops for my husbands 75th birthday, in Dec 2021. As the time grew closer and Covid became more active, I downsized it to a private dinner for 10, and Raj at Scanway was so lovely about it, then 2 weeks later, I cancelled it completely as again we were nervous of Covid, again Raj was so so nice. A couple of days (literally a couple of days) before his birthday I emailed Raj and said I feel so bad not celebrating this big birthday, I'm sure it's too late but if at all possible could we do the party for 10? (He then reminded me it could only be 9 guests plus the chef to say within the 10 - perfect !!) Well.....he was amazing !! Of course !! Was his answer, he made it fun, he made it soo easy, it was absolutely everything and more than what we hoped for. The Chef took all Covid safety precautions VERY seriously, the food was so so delicious and served hot hot hot. The presentation was so much more than I could have hoped for. Before each course the Chef would tell us what was coming and all the wonderful details of each dish. One of the dishes included beautiful steaks and each one done to perfection for the guests preference, AMAZING !! Our guests absolutely raved about the food and the evening. We will definitely do it again!!“
