“Thanks for the impeccable service, original cocktails and nice food. We dined Friday Eve and were the only diners but received rock star service from the moustached gentleman behind the bar. We visited another bar after based on the bartenders recommendation but the service at Walters was 1000% better! The food was decent. We tried the nachos and the Bao buns. Some ingredients on the nachos were redundant (ricotta) and didn't add anything to the dish at all. They were a little toppings heavy which is certainly rare!! But the flavours were good and we enjoyed the Bao buns. Great cook on the pork belly!! Drinks were superb - unique flavours and lovely presentation. Thanks so much for a lovely evening. Our first visit and we will be back ASAP for another wonderful cocktail.“

“We had our small wedding group here for dinner post ceremony. It was the perfect space (the Rhino room) and fit all 27 of us. Booking was easy, the staff and food was fantastic and delicious. And they were so accommodating to our guests with allergies. Cannot recommend it enough!“

“Enjoyed our first (but certainly not our last) dining experience at Ragazzi. It was amazing from start to finish. From the lovely greeting at the door, to our knowledgeable and entertaining server Lucas, it was an evening to remember. Our meals were a gourmet delight and were nothing short of perfection. From the flaming shrimp and scallops, to the insanely delicious halibut, veal parmigiana and lasagna, we have no words. Lucas was attentive to all our needs and he can whip up a wicked martini! We wholeheartedly endorse everything about Ragazzi and will be back soon. Thank you for an exceptional evening Ragazzi!!“

“This was my first time at The Cannery, Bedford Row in downtown Halifax. I was greeted by friendly staff and my first thought was of the cleanliness of the restaurant and the staff were sharply dressed. The ambiance was chic and it was decorated in classy high end furnishings. I choose a both, yet still had a great view of Halifax harbour. The Braised Short Rib Pappardelle was cooked flawlessly and the sauce was tasty delicious. I look forward to the steak on my next visit. Mixologist Abi is amazing and pours the best tasting cocktails the city has to offer. His drinks please both the eye and the taste buds as he has a few tricks up his sleeve. Thanks again to everyone at The Cannery for a tasty meal and tasty drinks. See you all again soon. Cheers“

“If you want a fast and easy lunch, this is the right place to get it.
We came here on remembrance Day so practically no one was around. The restaurants located inside a hotel so it took a hot minute to find, but once we did we were immediately seated. The orders came quick, we got a lobster roll and truffle fries, I personally liked the fries better than the roll. There’s nothing inherently special about this place. Its just a quick dine and dash, so if that’s what you’re looking for, here you go.“

“First visit: Michelin 3-Stars plus Head Chef - Amy McDougall out did herself! Nikki our server was great host worth a 5-Star rating herself. Our first time to Le Rouge we couldn’t find anything to complain about. Thea Langille said hands down our favorite restaurant in Halifax. Great wine selection and cocktail list. We kept it simple with a white. Started with 6 raw PEI oysters and decided on the spicy (good bite) with horseradish and lemon over the garlic / lemon sauce. These were the fullest & freshest oysters we have ever had. Ordered slightly more than simple garden salad with our AAA Prime rib medium rare beef dip with mayonnaise sandwich. The dip was not salty and complimented the whole sandwich exquisitely. Light and delicious and bursting with freshness flavours. We splurged and shared a Vanilla Tuile Sea Salt caramel with coconut pudding garnished with a tasty biscuit and candy caramel drizzle. Not what I was expecting! Tip if you get it. spoon clear to the bottom, light and balanced. Best part Amy McDougall served it herself. Stylish and elegant decor, easy to talk and have a conversation even with the back ground music. An applause for the interior designer. The colors, lines and high end appeal coupled the excellence of quality brought to the table. We will be back Nikki and thank you Amy, Sincerely Peter & Thea ❤️ Second visit: Another great night with the beautiful and always delightful Thea Langille. This time I will make note that we went to see “Oppenheimer” after the meal. We had to Google to remember it was “Indiana Jones” the last time. Lol. We started with the White and Rose Sangria, each choosing one. Then the Asian Nachos (my favorite), Seafood Chowder that was amazingly meaty & creamy. I had the garden with the Lobster Club on a croissant. No dessert this time. Nikki our server was once again delightful.“
“Dining at the Hop Scotch Dinner Club, I was blown away by one dish in particular. The scallops were just divine, seared to a perfect crisp on the outside while remaining incredibly tender and juicy on the inside. It's rare to find that balance executed so flawlessly. Then there was the 'nduja sauce and red lentils – oh, what a pairing! The sauce added just the right kick, and the lentils brought a comforting earthiness that grounded the dish. And those fermented carrots? Their sharpness and the skill in their preparation were nothing short of impressive. The dish was also a treat for the eyes, adorned with calendula petals and a drizzle of their oil, adding a splash of color and a hint of elegance. It was an unforgettable experience, a beautiful blend of flavors, textures, and visual appeal, all thanks to the creativity and skill of the chefs at Hop Scotch Dinner Club.“

“My family of 8 went to the “Middle Spoon” in the Sunnyside Mall for lunch. We enjoyed a variety of uniquely presented finger foods and very fancy mouthwatering desserts. It was served with hot beverages, chips, fresh fruit and warm SMILES! Our preordered luncheon, will be remembered and talked about for years to come. The service was excellent while the decor and atmosphere made us feel special! We definitely would recommend the “Middle Spoon” restaurants to all our friends and family. So wished we would have thought to take a picture of our memorable experience!“

“Really great experience at this spot in downtown Dartmouth. Went for date night and we had the bread, carrots, prawns, and rainbow trout, all very much shareable. Food and atmosphere were great, service was exceptional, shout out to my man Luis for a wonderful evening!“
