Nice little diner in Dartmouth. My wife had the Fish and Chips and she loved them. Little disappointed that the tartar sauce was a package of Kraft. I had the club and it was average, at best. Service was great. I would definitely go back, but I would order something different. Probably the Fish and Chips!
I ordered the corned beef dinner. The corned beef was the best i've had. The only thing is, the vegetables were not cooked in the broth. Which gives the vegetables, another level of flavor. Also, there was not much broth to put on my corned, beef. Just a tiny little serving. My wife had the lasagna. It was all right. The only thing is, when you cook the hamburger for lasagna, always season the hamburger then add it to the sauce. And the sauce could be used a little bit more...
One of my favorite spots to stop in for a bite to eat. Colleen is an absolute GEM of a human being. You could find yourself entering as a customer and leaving as family. The food is delicious, the prices are still reasonable, and the staff is wonderful. Add the live music present most evenings, and you have yourself a party.
