I have only gotten takeout so far but even that was way beyond my expectations. I am addicted to the pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings and the juicy pork dumplings. Reminds me of the ones I had in Toronto that I’ve been dreaming of. Finally there is a place close to home I can get my fix. The staff are super friendly and make it such a cute little place to grab a bite. Highly recommend coming here! Sorry for the lack of photos, I keep eating them all before I remember to take a few photos.

Ordered chashu ramen —>Pros: overall taste is delicious; they used chewy egg noodles; the 2 pork belly slices/chashu were uber tender, flavorful, and about 1/4 inch thick; soup base is good; has 2 halves of hard boiled egg and some greens (sorry, no pic, hunger made me eat it fast!); price is around $17.Cons: it was not served hot, only lukewarmWe also ordered pork and shrimp dumpling —>Pros: it’s 16 pcs per order and each is about the size of a quarterCons: we weren’t able to eat it or even taste it as we saw a strand of black hair (about 3 inches) in between 2 of the dumplings. We called the lady staff/cashier and raised the issue and showed her the hair. She offered if we’d like to re-order it or choose another item from the menu so we chose the chicken rice bowl instead. As what other reviews said, the dumplings were served in clumps; it looked like it was taken from the fridge and placed directly to the wooden steamer to cook, without separating each piece prior to cooking them. Also, it was soggy.Chicken rice bowl, to go —>Pros: not bad for a quick lunch, instead of fast food; tastes is ok, good for the hungry; freshly made as it was piping hot when I checked it. Rhe chicken meat pieces were tender.Cons: a bit salty for my taste but I guess that’s where the rice comes inOverall Pros:Pricing is goodGreat customer service re: the issue aboveGreat locationSmall and simple restoThe ramen is commendable ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️Quick serviceCons:Not wheelchair accessibleIf the resto is full, it’s going to get cramped. It has 7 small tables and about 4 chairs to each tableLimited menu itemsVerdict: will come back for the ramen! ??

Great ramen. Staff seemed a bit distracted when I visited due to online/takeout orders though, but would still recommend for noodles.

Had a bad earache and needed some ramen! Googled noodles and found this place.Amazing quality ramen noodles that were cooked very well - straight noodles that absorbed so much flavour while still being elastic and el dante firm. Had the biggest pork belly slices I've ever had. Broth was flavourful, perfect if you can't have much hot spice. Very polite host gave me chilli sauce to add heat - made my bowl perfect for my liking. I got the juicy pork dumplings, and they truly lived up to its name. I was given components to make a dipping sauce, which went perfectly with the dumplings. Cheapest and best dumplings east of Montreal!I received a lucky souvenir! It's definitely my new favourite spot after this visit.A genuine 5-star review.

Quiet little restaurant off the beaten path. Ramen was flavorable but the chai siu was fattier than expected. The steam dumplings were delicious and even my kids who are typically adversed to dumplings gobbled up several without being asked!

Seating for 22. Casual atmosphere. Friendly service. Tried for the first time around 4pm on a Saturday in Aug 2023. A table next to me with a loud family, made my meal less enjoyable than I'd hoped for, but that's not the business' fault obviously. I saw a poster with a blue drink so asked what it was because it looked delicious. The Hawaiian punch with orange, lemon & sparkling water. Not sure what gives it the pretty blue color, but it was tasty and so refreshing. I opted for an order of the steamed pork & shrimp dumplings. (They come with 16 per order). Very good! I ate some with soy sauce, some with chili oil, some with malt vinegar, all being very good. Quite filling too. I'll definitely be back here to try other things.
