My friend and I came in tonight for a meal and sat ourselves and waited for 20 minutes for service. We were not acknowledged at all, other people that came in after us were waited on immediately. Every server made eye contact with us but never came to the table or said hello or even offered us a drink. I have never had an experience like this before at any restaurant. We were so annoyed, we got up and left. Even if it's busy, have the courtesy to acknowledge your customers!

Highly recommend seafood chowder. It’s a 10 out of 10.

Pilots Pub is a family-friendly restaurant with a variety of options for both kids and those with dietary restrictions. The menu includes tasty and flavorful dishes, such as the unique donair grilled cheese and fries, as well as homemade burgers and liver and onions. The restaurant has a decent amount of parking nearby but it can be limited during peak hours. The staff is accommodating and can recommend options for those with allergies. The servers were very pleasant. The burger was really good. Fries are the rough cut ones. There is lots of space and it is bright. There is a nice view of Halifax. They had the lobster roll with a ceaser salad and the pan fried haddock with potatoes and carrot and turnip. Both were delicious. The lobster sandwich was the best ever had. The haddock was hot and tasty. They have a private room which was nice, easy to hear conversation. The waitress was attentive, answered questions, kept hot drinks topped up and was helpful packaging leftovers. Everyone enjoyed the food, the chicken stir fry was popular, someone had the rib special which was a large portion of rib, haddock was a favorite. The donair grilled cheese with sweet potato fries was delicious, a fun take on a donair. They also have some fun fall drinks.
