“after living in halifax for over 4 years i must say the most disappointing customer service and most hurtful incident of RACIAL profiling I ever had to deal with has been at the Burnside freshii..... after walking in between meetings while talking to my business partner on the phone, I was refused service by the MANAGER . who told me he will not serve me.... when asked why he refused to serve me he told me I was disrespecting him by coming to his cashier register on my phone...... of course this manager them walked around from his counter walked right into my face to intimidate me..... when i proceeded to try to make my order after been hungry running back and forth to meetings all day he proceeded to call the police... thanks to freshii Burnside I am once again reminded that my appearance is either threatening or offensive.... either way it was made clear that my kind is not welcome.....!!!“

“My favourite 'fast food' restaurant, visit every time I'm in the area. Pleasant staff, customizable menu, loaded with protein and the peppercorn sauce is delicious. I enjoy the fountain pop options they have as well and its one of the few places you can still get the red bag of sun chips!“

“I eat a lot of shawarma all over the city. I’m no expert but I know what I like and city shawarma is the best in Halifax and area. I always have the Syrian chicken so that’s all I can speak to but it is 10/10 every time. Never dry. Great flavour. Wrap thin and crispy. Good garlic sauce. Love these guys and love having them in my neighbourhood. Hope they’re here for a very very long time.“

“Got a gift card for Christmas and went to the Halifax branch to claim, the figured the card was legit but wasn't being accepted by the system the staff was very gracious and gave us the pizza for free as it wasn't on us that the system wasn't working, kudos and thanks for great service, pizza was also very good.“

“If I ever move to another neighborhood, I’d still come back to Halifax just for this place.
Seriously the best Thai food. I’ve tried most of the menu and haven’t found a single bad dish yet.
My go-tos are always the squid ring fries and pad thai but the fried rice is so good too.
The Thai chilli fish is also a must. The sauce is next level.
Honestly, everything here is good. You have to try it. Sometimes they are too busy to serve foods fast enough but worth it“
