We sat out on the patio on a pretty windy evening but were very well sheltered by the barriers. The food was amazing and the service was extremely friendly. The variety of the menu gives so many options and is perfect if you gave a group of people that can't agree on where to go for dinner!

Revised: I don't know if they changed ownership or management, but the food is very different.

Booked the place three weeks in advance for a bachelorette party and even confirmed the restaurant day of and then had the reservation cancelled when we arrived.
There was no effort made to contact me beforehand about the change. Very unprofessional.

We booked this table for my daughter's birthday. We were seated right at the back in an empty room with zero ambience. The curry was amazing as always but the pastas and calamari were basic and lacked flavour. The service was dismal. The server told us it was his second day but this doesn't excuse the awful service. The place was fairly empty yet we waited at least 45 minutes AFTER finishing our food, for him to come by. Then we waited forever for dessert, one of which wasn't available he told us after taking our order and showing up with one dessert. Our table was so full of empty plates we had to stack them ourselves and move them to a different table to make room. There wasn't a manager in sight. Honestly for the money we spent, we were disappointed. What a let down for a special occasion.

We always love eating at Vines. If you can go on a taster night, you will truly leave amazed at how many fabulous dishes are available. (Definitely arrive hungry because you will want to have room to try them all.) The pastas alone were worth each trip back. We have also always dined there with our two children, and no matter their age at the time, the place always felt like a good fit for kids but still the right atmosphere for a special night out. ❤️

We decided to go to the restaurant (one of two Open Table offerings) because we were going to attend an event in the Dartmouth Zatsman Sportlex We were pleasantly surprised with the tastefullness ( the spices, the heat, and the temperature) of every traditonal Indian dish we ordered. There were five of us The menu has both Italian and Indian dish selections. One of the group ordered a pasta dish (I did a tasting of that too and it was amazing). I will be coming back to VINES FUSION.

I used to frequent this place with my Indian colleagues 1-2 years ago. It was great then.

This time I ordered tandoori chicken, which unfortunately was on the saltier side and made with old chicken (I could smell it wasn’t so good and didn’t taste good either)

I ordered prawn curry and it was also too salty without any reasonable amount of spice. Furthermore the prawn itself felt old like it had been frozen and thawed multiple times before.

Overall not a great experience. I won’t be coming back anymore.

I am from the west coast , I have been to this restaurant twice on both trips to Nova Scotia, my first experience was a ten out of ten.Todays meal took two hours , poor service and the food was cold, was comped $10.00 off a four person bill. Not sure if I would chance going back again. Was the worst dinner experience for me in forty years of eating out in restaurants. Poor meal, poor service poor apology with a miserable $10.00 comp off food the was barely edible.

My sister and I ordered from the Vines Fusion Saturday, April 13, 2024. We get together and order from a nice restaurant once a month trying all kinds of great restaurants around HRM. We ordered through Uber and the delivery timeline was bang on as usual. We unpacked the meal and what a disappointment. It was about $100 with Uber fees and we got a seafood linguine each and a side Caesar salad and another side to share. The seafood linguine menu description was mussels, salmon, shrimp and Scallops. We all know to expect a few bites of each seafood but, we only got the shrimp and scallops. Not a single piece I’m of salmon or not one single muscle. And each dish only got 4 shrimp and 2 scollops. They must have been out of linguine because it was spaghetti. Though the salad was small and had mostly stalk, it was good, how can you go wrong with the dressing. I would have preferred the linguine over spaghetti but it was still good. We didn’t let it ruin our night but it was a bit disappointing. we feel a bit taken advantage off and ripped off. We called and they said to call Uber. Weren’t interested in the feedback at all.

Tried a few indian dishes and they all sucked. No flavor, small portions and expensive. One of the worst indian foods I've had. Threw away half the food. The nan was bad. The wilted lettuce Cesar salad just sucked.Save your time and money and avoid this dumpster fire.

Lights were too bright to create any ambience. We had booked on Open Table and they didn't have it recorded in their onsite reservation's book. They said they closed in 20min but were still nice enough to allow us to time. Appetizers were delicious but main entree were just okay. Our dishes and wine were brought to us staggered, not together so one of us had wine but other didn't until 10 min later... same for appetizers. It was valentines days so really missed the mark.
