It was absolutely awful! The batter looked like it was separating and did not stay on the fish! We will not be back! I wish I could share a pic for you to see! We haven’t been back since last year when our fish wasn’t cooked. Craving fish & chips and decided to give it another try, never again! Me and my family just left here and we're from SC, USA so we love good fried food!! This place was amazing the service was great because everyone was super sweet! I had the scallops which if the cook could make them for me every weekend I would happy cry. Cooked to perfection. My parents had the Haddock mom had just the regular piece meal, dad had the sandwich and they LOVED IT. They toasted my brothers shrimp a little too long but he said they were still good. GF FRIENDLY!! Mom is allergic and no cross contamination happened. Ambiance was cute very brunch like. Thank y'all!!

Im sorry , I don’t often leave reviews and especially not good ones, but I didn’t have a good experience here , and felt the need to this time. I finally had the chance to try this fish and chips and could not have been more disappointed….the fish batter was hard like a board, it was way over cooked , the fries bland , the whole meal lacked in flavour and freshness , I did not enjoy it or even finish it , I did like the coleslaw.
I asked when ordering that the meal be packed for travel and to include ketchup packets , utensils etc etc in the bag , when my order was ready and I got to counter , my order was not packed in a bag as requested, just passed to me in the little cardboard box it comes in and I had to re-ask for the condiments as none were even with it or offered, I also had to ask where’s my pop? Not having been before, I didn’t realize it was a token system for the drink as I wasn’t even given a token when I ordered ! The girl was like oh, you didn’t get a token? Then I wasn’t even told where to get it and had to ask that too. Everyone ahead of me was asked if they wanted coleslaw and lemon, I was not , and had to mention it myself ! Not worth the higher price compared to other spots , I actually regretted spending my money on it and unfortunately I won’t be back.

It's a little pricey but still a nice stop if on vacation.
Yearly we pick up lobster...scallop..&..mussel to treat the folks back home and the girls here are excellent with prepping and packing for the two day trip.

The fishing boat concept is cute, and it's near all the other Mass eateries in the area -- the butcher shop and creamery across the street, the seafood place next door in the faux lighthouse. I got the fried haddock sandwich and wasn't thrilled with it. While the haddock was okay, the huge roll was hard and it was difficult to take a bite out of it. The tiny cup of cole slaw it came with was terrible. The fries were typical frozen-type ones. And, the prices weren't cheap.
