Me and my family just left here and we're from SC, USA so we love good fried food!! This place was amazing the service was great because everyone was super sweet! I had the scallops which if the cook could make them for me every weekend I would happy cry. Cooked to perfection. The fish was good, but not a great experience overall. It is a takeout with outdoor seating only. It was raining, and had to decide whether to eat under the umbrellas or in the car. We decided to outside. The service was slow, and it didn’t feel as clean as I would like. Don’t plan to go back.
This restaurant is in Truro on the way to the Five Island Provincial Park. It is off the highway and you can't miss the lighthouse. All seating is outside and the building is shaped like a boat! We were there on a sunny, perfect day. That made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food is all fried, not something that I would make a steady diet of.
