We both had fish chowder and lobster roll special. Fish chowder had 2 pieces of fish, mostly potatoes and no flavor. Lobster roll was over toasted and had very little lobster. One of the worst meals I have had in NS. I would not recommend this restaurant. Waitress was friendly , but understaffed so we had a long wait. I have hardly ever made a complaint but said I would not recommend the meal or this restaurant.
Too expensive for the poor quality food .. service was good. Food was not ..

Must say our meal was far from enjoyable. Comparable to a fast food restaurant. Expensive for what we received. Our bloody Mary was a watered down juice with very little flavor. The dressing for my salad came in a packet similar to dipping sauce. Nasty. French fries cold. Clams not fresh but rubbery. Bacon wrapped scallops came out of a box. All for the price of $105.00. We do not recommend this restaurant

Overpriced food, not presented well and honestly not worth a second visit. Food was ok at best.

Was ok for lunch. Large menu. Too much to pick from, really. Waitress didn't know the specials.

Excellent food. So good that we came here every day of our trip to Digby. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The waitress was very nice. Little bit disappointed of the amount of lobster in the lobster roll. We will definitely be back next year!

The food was really excellent and, like the whole pub, very authentic.

Special haddock bites were very good and plentiful but served on the smallest plate, food kept falling off. Fries were from frozen, pretty tasteless. For a town that boasts Scallops they served super small and nothing special. Veggies and potatoes were good. We were not offered any of the scallop specials of the day which we only noticed on a billboard on the street when we left.

Service was friendly, place is cute, but the food is entirely not worth the price. NOT LOCAL, was informed by the waitress that the shrimp is frozen and supposedly “there’s no local shrimp”, Alfredo sauce was off putting, the haddock was greasy and definitely did not seem fresh and not prepped well, the scallop appetizer had 7 scallops for $19… I would not suggest this place to anyone that values fresh food in a FISHING TOWN.

Stopped here for dinner on a Thursday night, only 3 tables were occupied and they placed us right next to another table. Sometimes that works out for improved service but not in this instance. Our daughter wanted pasta, so went with two orders of shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was not only tasteless but offputting and the shrimp overcooked. My wife had a side of poutine and gravy which was simply grated cheese. Basically, we barely touched our food.
