The food was really excellent and, like the whole pub, very authentic.

Special haddock bites were very good and plentiful but served on the smallest plate, food kept falling off. Fries were from frozen, pretty tasteless. For a town that boasts Scallops they served super small and nothing special. Veggies and potatoes were good. We were not offered any of the scallop specials of the day which we only noticed on a billboard on the street when we left.

Service was friendly, place is cute, but the food is entirely not worth the price. NOT LOCAL, was informed by the waitress that the shrimp is frozen and supposedly “there’s no local shrimp”, Alfredo sauce was off putting, the haddock was greasy and definitely did not seem fresh and not prepped well, the scallop appetizer had 7 scallops for $19… I would not suggest this place to anyone that values fresh food in a FISHING TOWN.

Stopped here for dinner on a Thursday night, only 3 tables were occupied and they placed us right next to another table. Sometimes that works out for improved service but not in this instance. Our daughter wanted pasta, so went with two orders of shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was not only tasteless but offputting and the shrimp overcooked. My wife had a side of poutine and gravy which was simply grated cheese. Basically, we barely touched our food.

The seats were comfortable, the staff was pleasant and funny, and the food was amazing for its price.

The food is just average, acceptable but not worth that price. Just fill my stomach when going back from Brier Island to Halifax.

For the price I paid for "world famous scallops" they were definitely not worth it. 7 scallops that were basically tasteless and raw in the middle, with a handful of fries for 29.00 or there abouts. Tasteless food and would not recommend this place to anyone. The service was friendly but the food was not good at all

Had lunch today and my father and I split the lobster roll and each had a cup of the chowder. The lobster roll was fresh, not gooped in too much mayo and had a generous portion of meat. Enjoyed this.
The chowder was horribly bland and lacking any seasoning or foundation to have built upon. The broth was watery and the seafood components of the dish that no flavour.
We were quite disappointed, sadly. Our server was efficient and amiable.

Loved this place, wish I lived nearby. Charming, great food and service: We tried Digby scallops and creamed lobster. So good!
Parking: We found room for our small RV, no problem.
