Absolutely 💯. The fish literally melted in our mouths. Yum yum get you some!
Good food ,friendly staff, and open til 9 and don’t forget the pup burger, every dog loves a treat ! Best fish and haddie bits !
Stopped in with a friend the other day for a few burgers. Double cheeseburger with onions blew me away, can’t wait for the next one.
Hours need to be more consistent. Never know till way late in the day if they are open or when . Should have started a 2nd FB page and google info for the new location as it can be confusing. Food is ok.
Ed's is always a "Go To" for us newcomers. We always bring our out of town visitors too! Great food and excellent service.
Very friendly staff and amazing food come back everytime for that Bryson burger. Very glad these guys took over the establishment and I know they will succeed. Always beyond my expectations!

I stopped into Ed's new location in Kingston this week. The haddie bits and fries were excellent. I had the small, and it was a good size portion. The haddock was melt in your mouth fresh and the crispness of the batter was perfect. The fries were great as well. I appreciate that Ed's makes delicious fries, as many don't these days. Thanks for another great meal and I'll be back soon.

I was lucky enough to eat here several times in 1986 and have Ed himself make me some of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. Moreover, Ed was such kind and jovial soul. I will never forget him.
I certainly hope Ed's reopens soon as I consider it a part of Digby's heritage.

Went to the Kingston location and was expecting great things given the name and the sign, unfortunately my two piece fish and chips did not satisfy. The fish was cooked on the ends but soggy and slimey in the middle due to being undercooked. This was especially unfortunate because it was just past 8pm and there wasn't anyone else in line or waiting for food the whole time I was there. They also forgot my gravy and I had to walk back to the window and remind them. I ended up eating about half of it and then threw it out. The fries were okay but again pretty soggy. Based on my experience and the prices, it will be hard for me to give it another try. Hopefully they improve with time, as I'm sure some of their staff is new.

This review is for the Wilmot location.
Been excited to try since we first saw they were opening.
Went tonight to get the family pack of fish and chips, which is a very good deal at $50 for 12 pieces of fish and 2 large fries +coleslaw.
We went right at 4pm when they opened and what a disappointment.
Fish used was fresh, but the oil used could not have been fresh, rather it was likely a day or two old. The batter was both raw and burnt somehow, fries were both burnt and soggy.
I wiriting this right now with absolutely gut rot from what was eaten, not from spoiled food as again the fish was very fresh, but from the amount of old oil the raw/burnt batter had soaked up, along with the uncooked batter.
I had seen a picture on Facebook earlier in the day of someone who had ordered and their fish and chips was also burnt and oily, however I disregarded as a one off because I really truly was excited to try it.
Cannot say I'll be coming back any time soon unless I see some pictures of the food being significantly improved in terms of cooking.
Hands down best haddie bits we’ve ever eaten. It was fresh, not greasy and melted right in your mouth. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting good fish for a change. Amazing food!
Drove 45 minutes for a birthday supper only to find that they were not open. The sign outside said open Saturday. Not impressed!
