I am updating a previous review from 6 years ago which i had praise for this place.. When I was back this time, there was a noticeable decrease in service. The drive-thru line was backed to the road consistently. We went twice and experienced a 15-20 minute time to get served each time. We went inside the second time to see if it was quicker, and we were ignored for 10+ minutes before we could order. Not what I would expect from a McDonald's.

Stopped at the McDonald's in Digby along the highway for a quick breakfast on our way to whale watching, and it was a good experience.
The location is convenient, making it an easy stop on a road trip.
The service was good, we got our order quickly so we could get back on the road.
Overall, it was a satisfying stop to fuel up before our adventure especially when you have a very limited options in the area.
Parking: Location is very convenient, exactly on the exit. Gas station nearby.

We ordered at the drive-thu at 8pm. They had no ice, the pop was warm, the fries were dark brown, cold and hard and the drive-thru lane itself was deeply potholed. Poor experience. Had we not already been on our way to the highway we would have brought the food back. Maybe they could have used the fries to fill one of the potholes. $26 out the window.
Hours say open until 1pm Friday and Saturday yet they always close early
