One of my favorites meals and experiences over the course of a 2.5-week vacation in Canada. Soo Good has a distinctly different vibe from the rest of Digby and we appreciated that. The food was excellent and very, very vegan-friendly. It's a small restaurant (perfect size tbh) so make a reservation.
Digby 's hidden gem. Located in the lobby of a hotel off the main downtown strip, Soo Good Kitchen is easily the best place in town for vegetarians and vegans, and is probably the right place for everyone else. One of the owners will serve you while the other cooks. While "Asian fusion" sometimes feels like code for "mostly North American," that is not the case here. They have dishes that come from many Asian countries and everything we ate was great....
Some of the best Asian food just about anywhere! Not a huge menu but carefully and tastefully prepared. Not the old standard gen tau/ chicken ball stuff but very unique selection. Small dining area. Call first or you will very likely be disappointed. Very popular for those in the know.
