I brought a friend and drove from Kentville for a bowl of seafood chowder and it didn't disappoint!! The absolute best chowder around!! Absolutely worth the drive. Highly recommend.
The seafood chowder was recommended to me and I absolutely would recommend to anyone else.
We stopped in for lunch at around 11:45 on a Thursday. There were only a few other tables seated when we arrived, but by the time we left the place was full and quite busy — clearly a popular spot with both locals and visitors.
I ordered the half lobster roll with the fish chowder. The chowder was definitely different from any I’ve had before (and I’ve had my fair share!). It had very large pieces of fresh, flavorful potato and a generous amount of haddock, along with two small scallops and about a tablespoon of small lobster pieces. The broth was cream-based and very flavorful. Overall, it was a tasty and unique chowder — just expect it to be quite heavy on the potato.
The half lobster roll itself had good flavor, but I personally would have preferred it served on a different type of bread. It seemed to be on a regular sliced sandwich bread (similar to Dempster’s), and I think it would shine more on a bun, roll, or even a croissant — something a bit fresher and less processed to complement the lobster.
My partner had the steak soup (I believe that’s what it was called), which had potatoes and mushrooms. He really enjoyed it. He also had a sandwich (can’t recall which one!) and said it was good as well.
Service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. If you’re visiting Digby and want a spot with hearty portions and local seafood, this is a nice place to stop in — just know that it gets busy fast!
The food was a delicious experience and the location was amazing. Best place to enjoy with family 😊😊
Great place to eat ..
We enjoyed a great meal on a busy Saturday night. Fishn' Chips & Clubhouse were delicious and our server Georgia was fabulous. Loved the view of the harbour and fishing boats. Thanks again.
We had an amazing seafood dinner here.
We ate here, but did not stay in a room.
Service was fantastic.
Food was quite good - not the best we had while in Atlantic Canada but definitely a decent meal.
View of the docks from the outside seating was nice.
We had a great meal here while on vacation - the food was delicious, the service was great & the view from the deck was awesome! They also had an entire back page of their menu dedicated to gluten free food, and were very accommodating & helpful for me having celiac to make sure I was good to eat!
rushed to order and not checking the freshness of food before serving and gets mad when they get negative feed back

Really good food and great service
Excellent seafood restaurant with very friendly staff
We came in for lunch. We were served right away. Got a cute table right by the window, our server; I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, but it wasn’t her usual day to work. was very pleasant and informative.
we ordered a classic poutine and a shore burger. Both of them were scrumptious, seems like a local spot and everything that was being delivered to the other tables looked fantastic. If we are ever back here again we will be sure to stop on by. Thank you all
Great service and great food for a good price around this area, staff let us leave our suitcase in a corner during our walk out.
Great food 😋 and very pleasant staff. An enjoyable experience
