We ate 2 bites and ate nothing else that we ordered. Genuinely blown away by how bad this was. Beef and broccoli was frozen broccoli with beef “bits”, beef rice was undercooked. Wonton soup was pink, broth tasted like nothing. Didn’t expect anything great, but this was quite underwhelming. Now our group is sitting on the ferry hungry and out ~$100

Well we are traveling from Ontario and visiting Digby... of course we were hungry and decided on some Chinese food and we asked around and they all told us this is the place.. There is an enormous menu to choose from and very difficult choices but I decided on...Denise our waitress recommended a few things. I decided to get combo plate e and my wife decided on combo plate C...
You cannot go wrong with either one and the spare ribs are just insanely good..

The Happy Cow description was very promising, but the reality didn't deliver on the promise.
The people were extremely nice and a lot of locals seem to love the place. But the food is more Chinese influenced than Chinese.
It is nice that there is a vegetarian section. Also, the portions were large and full of fresh vegetables. But the flavors were bland, there was no tofu, and dishes did not come with rice.
We ordered the vegetable stir fry (would have been pretty flavorless but okay if it had tofu and was served on rice), chop suey (again, could have been okay with tofu and rice or noodles), and fried rice. The fried rice would have been the highlight if we hadn't found five small pieces of chicken in the dish.
Digby has limited options and I feel bad giving a negative review to such nice people who actually have a vegetarian section on the menu, but I can't recommend this one unless you really just want a large dish of vegetables.

l am gluten intolerant. the beef and broccoli was not safe for me in th buffet. t h e chef made some for me so I could have some. incredible! awesome service.

Vegetarian options: There’s lots of vegetarian options available, and they’re all amazing!
Parking: Right outside of the building, tons of parking spots
Kid-friendliness: The waiters enjoy talking to the kids, joking around with them and all.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking is very, very close to the building, and the door at the building has an automatic button option, and the door is very wide and tall.
