“our first time there before the Savoy show. Generally good. The service was a slow but only because this friendly sole server was more or less run off her feet. the food was generally good. We all enjoyed it except the steak one of us had. You can see other reviews where the steak is simply not good. Thin and tough as shoe leather. Other than that our party of six was happy with the food.“
“First time in the pub side, we have gone to the bakery for breakfast previously which was absolutely fantastic in itself. We decided to stop in the pub for lunch yesterday, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was very grunge, early 2000s. We were extremely comfortable and the music was great. Our server/ bartender was top notch, recommending drinks to us and checking in constantly all while running the pub by himself. The food… wow. We have lived here a year and have yet to have found our favourite wings. The wings were crispy, sauced perfectly, and meaty. The fries were seasoned and deliciously hot. We also tried the chicken and waffle sandwich and it exceeded expectations. We will be back over and over again.“
