The first time I ate here, it took quite a while to be served (not only for food, but for drinks and the check as well) I had the turkey dinner. The turkey and stuffing were So dry, not even the small amount of gravy could help. The cold carrots were decent enough I guess.
The second time, I ordered eggs benedict. I asked for medium poached eggs, I got hard. The home fries were under cooked and about a third of the amount I would've received had I eaten in at the restaurant, and the English muffin I expected turned out to be a hamburger bun.
Not overly impressed with this place.
Also, the website indicates the eggs Benny was about $10, yet they charged me $16 (+5 for delivery)
*Update!
The restaurant contacted me to address only one specific thing... it was not a hamburger bun, just a very large local made English muffin 👍

Everything was great. Service, meal (turkey dinner special, with the pumpkin pie and cofee), prices, all nice. We're from the states, so this year I'll be having two Thanksgiving meals. =)

Fun, lovely little place to eat. Good food, good price, wonderful service from very friendly, attentive and kind servers. Fantastic, friendly atmosphere and lovely patrons. One of my favorite breakfasts I've ever had. Busy, but they powered through folks quickly without making you feel rushed and it never felt crowded. Charmingly decorated.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly and lots of them in the place, all being treated very well by the staff and other patrons.

Great food, wonderful/friendly service. If you’re in Glace Bay, be sure to visit the Miner’s Museum and Colette’s. Recommended are the haddock and the thunder crunch chicken sandwich.

Stopped on our drive for the all day breakfast. Place is small and every table was full. Service was quick and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order 😋. Bottomless hot coffee.

Decided to order 5 boiled suppers today for the family. Very very disappointed with the meals we received for our takeout. The cabbage, potato, carrots and turnip were all very hard, almost like not cooked enough. The only thing that was actually editable was the meat. What a big waste of money today's supper was, not sure if I will ever come back to this restaurant. The use to be awesome, maybe a bad say, but a expensive day for me when it couldn't be eaten, very disappointed. Mike

We had a beef melt, sweet potato fries, quesadilla, and roast beef dinner. Everything was delicious. Everything was extremely quick, top notch service. I was blown away by how cheap the final bill was! 11/10, I'll be recommending this place to others!
