Firkin and Flyer Reviews
I had their pancakes. Couldn’t eat it. Tasted terrible. Looked like something taken from a package warmed up and put on a plate. 3 Super thin measly looking things. More like a biscuit/cookie than cake. I sent it back and had toast instead. Server was friendly.
Had a preflight bite in Halifax airport. Nacos to share were good with generous portions, burger and fries all reasonable . Tried Molson Ultra and was pleasantly surprised how light and palatable it was. The highlight of the restaurant must be the waiter Stamos. He is very efficient, pleasant and seems to be constantly in good form to all patrons young and old. It makes waiting for a flight just a little less stressful. A big shout out to you Stamos five stars
Just what I needed before an early flight. Friendly service, sports on tv, and a hearty breakfast.

Firkin and Flyer is a convenient and ambient pub and restaurant located within the Halifax Airport. The restaurant offers a choice of seating areas, including hallway seating and a bar, making it suitable for a quick bite or drinks. The menu features delicious dishes like the lobster roll and the tofu power bowl, which has been praised as a healthy and flavorful option with fried pickled cauliflower and perfect dressing. Customers have noted the need for more TVs to watch while enjoying a drink. Overall, Firkin and Flyer remains a great choice for casual drinks and food while waiting for a flight, offering top-notch food at fair prices. The food was tasty, and the kids’ portions were very generous. The chicken and noodle soup and the spaghetti and meatballs are recommended. Service was also a bit slow, but Stamos provided exceptional service. The fish cakes were dry and the hollandaise sauce was tasteless, but the meal was comped.
