This is our go to brewery in Halifax when we visit. The beer is excellent and the employees are an absolute joy to talk to. We come up on new england cruises from New York City and the walk from the port is so nice. Get to see a lot of the city and then get great beer. Its the best. Cant wait to visit again next year!
This spot is a gem. The folks are friendly. The beer is very good. The pizza is the best. We have traveled for the last 6 years and this place stands out. + we will moss you!
Great beer and service
What a lovely stop on our Canada trip! Their dish washer was broken (only plastic cups) and the hot dog oven was broken (so no food) but we had the nicest chats with the bartender and the most competent beer discussions in a while. Thanks for a really lovely afternoon with chats and stories and amazing beers! 🧡
2 Stars for 2 Crows – Just Not the Experience We Hoped For
Unfortunately, 2 Crows Brewery didn’t really hit the mark for us. Right off the bat, we were put off by a strange smell inside, and the overall vibe just didn’t feel that welcoming. Still, we decided to give it a fair shot.
We tried the Blackberry & Apricot Sour and a Double IPA. I thought the IPA was just okay, but my wife didn’t enjoy it, and we both really didn’t care for the sour—the flavour just didn’t sit right.
We even tried coming back another day to give it another chance and try their hot dogs and a flight, but when we walked in, we were told they wouldn’t be open until 4:00 PM (despite their usual hours saying 12:00 PM), and there was no notice about the change anywhere online. Also a bit strange that they close at 10:00 PM, especially for a brewery.
We genuinely wanted to give this place a fair shake, but between the off atmosphere, lack of communication, and underwhelming drinks, it just didn’t work out for us. Hopefully others have a better experience!
Visited a few days ago for a flight of beers. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the beer. It's a little noisy inside (it's an operating brewery in there), but there is some nice outdoor seating as well. I tried many local beers while visiting Halifax and this was my favourite local beer. I had to fly home, otherwise I would have taken 24 to go. I still took a few beers for back at the hotel. If you are into craft beer, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
Maddie rocks!!!!
Neat brewery bar. I didn't love how many of the taps were IPAs, but there were a few others for us to choose from that were pretty good.
Great place! Thank you Madison for the great service. We felt very welcomed. See you next year to see your barmaid progression.
Great beer and lovely patio. Also have delicious hop water for anyone not drinking!
