I recently returned from a trip to Nova Scotia and brought back five different kinds of cakes from the coast. Sharing them with friends, some former East coasters, 24 Carrot oatcakes were the clear fan favorite, more than holding their own against the finest oat cakes from Cape Breton. They are cross between the more austere CB style and some of the thicker, decadent mainland versions. A perfect balance it appears. They were so well loved by a friend’s Colombian girlfriend that...
Nice little bakery, tucked in and out of the way. Good selection of baked goods. Mainly breads, muffins and specialty muffins and desserts. Fairly priced, we had muffins and cinnamon buns. Tasted good. Reasonably priced, bread and english muffins are pricy and small portions. Really liked their muffins. Staff is friendly and serve you really quickly.
