I recently returned from a trip to Nova Scotia and brought back five different kinds of cakes from the coast. Sharing them with friends, some former East coasters, 24 Carrot oatcakes were the clear fan favorite, more than holding their own against the finest oat cakes from Cape Breton. Nice little bakery, tucked in and out of the way. Good selection of baked goods. Mainly breads, muffins and specialty muffins and desserts. Fairly priced, we had muffins and cinnamon buns. Tasted good. Reasonably priced, bread and english muffins are pricy and small portions. Really liked their muffins. Staff is friendly and serve you really quickly.
We got married this past weekend and worked with Thea at 24 Carrots on our wedding cake. It was incredible! We had a lemon cake with vanilla buttercream and the taste was perfect.
The bakery was helpful and responsive with changes to size and design ideas and absolutely delivered the best we could have hoped for.
