my favourite restaurant, easily. their food’s always great, the guys running the store are always super friendly, there’s free lentil soup (the best i’ve ever had!) while you’re waiting, the prices are very reasonable, and the portion sizes are great too, i’m never left wanting in any regard.
I stopped here for the first time to get a falafel wrap to go. It was a good-sized portion and tasty. I was also very kindly offered a sample of lentil soup while I waited. The only negative is that I decided to treat myself to some baclava and it was soggy to the point of falling apart, not crispy like you would expect. And there was no price shown but it must have been around $7 based on my total bill. So unfortunately that was a disappointing way to end the meal.
I recently had the lamb shank and it was absolutely outstanding.On top of the delicious food, the service was just as impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout the meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying meal and excellent hospitality!
