😠 Disappointed by the Service at A&W in Scotia Mall Food Court
I've been a regular customer at this A&W and always appreciated the great food and friendly service—especially from the owner, who’s truly fantastic. But my recent visit left me shocked.
My debit card was declined twice, which was strange. I mentioned to the staff member that it might be their machine. I walked straight to Scotia Bank, withdrew cash, and came back to pay. I explained the situation, telling him my card was fine—it had to be their machine.
Rather than acknowledging or apologizing, he smirked at me like I was lying, threw my food onto the tray, turned his back, and said absolutely nothing. No courtesy, no explanation, no respect.
That kind of attitude doesn't belong in customer service, especially in a place I’ve supported so often. The owner deserves better representation—and so do the customers.

Wow excellent food. I never tasted anything like those burgers ever before. Quality awesome and timing is so quick on my orders. I like teen burger and poutine it’s amazing taste than other stores.

Ordered chicken hot cruncher and poutine, but apparently, poutine tastes horrible. Cheese is bad taste, and burgers chicken did not fully cook as it's still result red, so don't order this anymore. Go different AW, thank
AW really stands out with its smart design and solid performance. It’s user-friendly and dependable, making it a great choice. Plus, Sunny was amazing—so helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely worth checking out!!!

Really great Vegetarian burger and superb onion rings, washed down with lemon ice tea. A little bit pricey at $38 for two but enjoyable cos of quality. Veggy burgers are made from scratch so expect a 10 min wait .You won't be disappointed.

“Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently tried in nova scotia! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each food item is done the right way. Beyond meat burger, fries with extra seasoning, Nashville chicken was especially memorable. Must try!” The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.
