Stopped in for brunch with my son this weekend! This place was hopping ! Was a full house so we sat at the bar to eat and chat! Both decided on trying their Chicken and waffles with cardamom syrup, did not disappoint . we knew it would be great as the restaurant has an open kitchen concept and the chef was just “Sending it” he was filling orders with fast efficient and beautifully plated expertise! We will absolutely be back to enjoy their dinner menu next ! 5 stars on all categories

Love the food here, most of the dishes might not fill you up but the taste is incredible. Lots of unique dishes (Last time I had donair gnocchi) with a few comfort/safety options for picky eaters.
It's a small place so it's almost always loud but you can see the kitchen staff which is a cool concept. One of the best carrot cakes I've ever had so save some room for dessert.

Food was subpar at best. Burger was small (probably 4oz), fries were over cooked and from frozen – not worth $24 +tax. All the food came out at various times over a 20 minute period, and my food came out last and cold. I had a party of 15 and all of us were charged a 15% gratuity WITHOUT being told so I promptly called to report the issue. I spoke to the supervisor on duty and was told I would be called “right back”… it’s been 6 hours. I wouldn’t consider this restaurant.

Fantastic way to spend a Friday night! aFrites serves best food in Halifax. In most cases I could walk away and try to figure out how to remake it but aFrites left me in awe! 10/10 experience. If you get the chance, you have to go!!

Redefining Chillax ! Stumbled across here this AM to some fantastic food and super friendly service. . My first time trying an ahi tuna benny which was excellent down to the last potato! I’ll come here again when I’m in Hali.
Excellent meal, nice atmosphere, friendly service and gluten free options. We really enjoyed our time here and will come back again.

Went there to try their famous oysters, but they weren’t serving them due to the season. Ended up trying the Ahi tuna avocado sandwich, and it was really delicious. Definitely recommend it!

David was a wonderful server and host. Had the Canadian breakfast with tasty Canadian bacon, gluten free bun and a homemade rhubarb and strawberry jam, fluffy scrambled eggs and a large crafe of French press coffee. Very interesting menu with lots of of homemade choices run by a small group of people that are passionate about their restaurant and making delicious food for their customers. Pleas stop by and you won't be disappointed!
Went for lunch and wasn’t disappointed! The burger and fries were fresh and so delicious. The margarita was refreshing. The service was impeccable AND meeting Andrew was the cherry on top. I enjoyed his season on Masterchef Canada and he was every bit as impressive in person as he was on the show. Fantastic restaurant!!
