My husband and went to their NYE Prix Fixe and it was amazing. The quality of the food was great, and the portions were good sized. My favourite good/drink pairing was the martini and oysters. The risotto balls to start were so delicious. The scallops were perfecr in the chowder. I can't say enough good things about the food quality. Service was also incredible. It was a small group and felt very homey and welcoming. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to finally get to one of their dinners!

Anemone hosted our micro-wedding a couple weeks ago and we had the most pleasant experience! Dany, Jesse and the team nailed everything from the atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing drinks. You know it’s a special spot when the head chef offers to carry your veil and dress train down the aisle for you so it doesn’t get caught in anything.
They took the time before hand to answer any questions we had, help with curating our menu and tailoring the whole night to match exactly what we wanted ❤️

It’s honestly hard to describe how amazing this place is. Chef Dany and her team are on another level. Every time I go, I’m blown away by what they put together. The food is creative, thoughtful, and always leaves me excited for the next bite.
The space has such a cool vibe and the staff make you feel right at home. It never feels like just going out for dinner, it feels like an experience. Halifax is lucky to have a place like this. I recommend it to anyone who wants a meal they’ll actually remember.

I’ve been lucky enough to dine at Anemone for their seated dinners, as well as work with them for corporate client events. On every occasion, it’s been a 10/10 experience. Each dish is not only delicious but beautifully presented. What truly sets Chef Dany and her team apart is their care and high level of professionalism.
Selfishly, I’d be tempted not to leave a review, simply because Anemone has become such a secret weapon for making my events stand out. But I’d be remiss not to give this incredible group their due.

We booked this beautiful space for an intimate 15 person dinner party, and every detail was perfect. It was upscale, and comfortable. The food was perfect and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

We recently hosted a vow renewal at Anemone. The planning process was incredibly easy.
Dany was able to accommodate multiple food allergies, and each of our guests felt safe and well fed. The food was also incredible; we loved learning about where the ingredients came from throughout the meal.
The service was some of the best I've ever experienced. I would 100% recommend Anemone to anyone planning a special occasion event.

My partner and I had the pleasure of enjoying both the prix fixe meal on April 19th, and the takeaway ham and chicken Easter plates on Easter Sunday.
The prix fixe menu was spectacular and playful, with such a variety of flavours. My partner and I chose all different options, which meant we got to try everything! I loved it all, especially the larb bowl, chicken and waffles, and mini egg cheesecake. The cocktail pairings were also superb. The cheesecake and amaro combo totally knocked my socks off! Furthermore, portion sizes were very generous and we both left stuffed.
There are a small number of tables in the restaurant, which made the experience feel intimate and special. I love the little vintage touches featured in the space, like the duck napkin rings.
The Easter dinner was also wonderful. The gravy was probably the best I’ve had anywhere, ever, but all parts worked beautifully together to form an impeccable meal. From the focaccia and herb butter, to the mashed potatoes, to the pineapple atop the ham, everything was expertly prepared and delicious. We have a little bit of the herb butter left over and I look forward to having it atop a bagel in the morning.

We attended the Valentines Prix Fixe event at Anemone. I am gluten and dairy free, my husband is not. It was easy to see which menu options were available to me before purchasing tickets, was prompted to note food allergies when purchasing, and received an email confirming this afterward.
The venue itself was so lovely and cozy. Parking was easy, even on the holiday. It truly feels like you are at a private dinner instead of a number at a restaurant.
A friend asked me afterward what my favourite part of the meal was - I couldn’t decide! Everything from the welcome snack to the caramel sauce on the dessert was excellent. The staff verbally confirmed (without me ever needing to ask) each of my GF/DF plates as they brought them to me, which made me feel confident that I was eating safely. At no point did I feel my meal was “less” than my husbands (I’ve suffered many bunless burgers and plain baked potatoes elsewhere).
We left happy, full, and looking forward to returning. Thank you Chef Dany & the Anemone team.

Attended our first Prix Fixe for Valentine’s Day. Everything about the experience was perfect and we cannot wait to go back. From the table settings to the carefully selected ingredients, it is intentionally beautiful.

The food was absolutely amazing - the asparagus salad was very tasty, chicken was particularly delicious, the dessert had so many flavours and the presentation was outstanding. You make everything so easy for us and the kitchen was cleaner than when you came.
We so appreciate you taking the time to be onsite and cook for us and it made the evening truly enjoyable.

My clients and I had an unforgettable experience at Anemone Dining. Chef Dany made planning a client party easy (I actually did nothing) and it was the best client party I have ever hosted! The food was spectacular, she had a signature cocktail made personally for me, the atmosphere was intimate but big enough to host a large crowd. The location is perfect and there is tons of parking across the road. I would highly recommend planning your next event with Anemone Dining & impressing everyone you know!!
