Great place for French toast and coffee. Support LOCAL!!
Great food and great people
Very friendly. Home like atmosphere.
Excellent breakfast, especially the bread! Thank you Annie for having me.
Very cosy Cafe, Served by a Lovely girl who was able to answer all questions related to dietary concerns. Am the guy who came in and said he's from the UK.
Overall cosy Cafe, would come again.
Sorry I might have gotten the name wrong @ Mia
You will never feel you are away from home
If you can talk to the most friendly staff I met in Halifax
I don’t remember there name but they are kind to everyone
They remind me something
Its both free to be kind and mean ( *imagine the right word here from your language that fits perfectly) but this place chooses to be kind
I love this place
And this is the first place I will vist if I ever be back in Halifax
Annie is so warm and friendly, met her last year with some family. This will always be a stop on my way to Halifax
Kid-friendliness: Annie loves kids!! She is so friendly and sweet to everyone. A real gem!

Update---
Once again, one of the best breakfast places in Halifax...and not only for the food. Great atmosphere and conversation yet again.
I was in Halifax for business and glad I found this gem. Great breakfast, and great conversation. I'll definitely be back

This place makes me so happy, it's such a real, authentic, local little vibe. Way better than 90% of the bougie downtown spots. Annie is a real sweetheart, and the little diner aesthetic is so perfect. Great stuff going on here ??????

This is a cute little breakfast place. The prices are pretty decent. I got the eggs Benny on special.
- the portion size was on the smaller side which is understandable for the price!
- the bread was homemade but unfortunately a little bit hard and lacking flavour
- the hollandaise sauce was actually the worst I have had in a restaurant. It tasted and looked more like melted butter than anything. Thin and flavourless.
- the eggs were done nicely!
- blueberry jam was good.
Overall I wouldn't go back but it was nice to try.

A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious and the coffee is flavourful. I also recommend the homemade blueberry jam.

We went here based on reading some good reviews which couldn’t be further from the truth. When we arrived it was 28 degrees (you could tell because there was a thermometer there). The kitchen and dining area are connected which made all of our clothes stink. Even though there were only about 7 total tables we waited over 1/2 hour before anyone came over after we sat down. The people working there seemed miserable- I can’t see why this would be enjoyable for anyone.
