This little jewel is definitely worth the visit if you're in the area , usually there's a line waiting to get in but the wait time is not long, the prices can't be beat anywhere , the staff is top notch, and the food is excellent, we even purchased a package of breakfast sausage they serve , would highly recommend.

Had late breakfast there (close to noon) today, August 20, 2025. Place was packed but we managed to find a table with the help of some customers who pointed out an available booth. Lots of chatter from so many customers, but not unsettling. Our server was a very pleasant, cheerful & efficient lady. Was amazed at how quickly our food arrived; there was lots of it & perfectly prepaired. Thankfully, we were hungry so not a crumb left on our plates. We rarely go to that area of the city, but when we do, we'll be sure to pop into the Ardmore Tea Room for a meal or a treat. Oh, and by the way, I've still got a buzz going from the excellent coffee!! See you soon...

I went to have lunch not having high hopes or expectations but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and impressed. Pretty simple menu but very very very good. I’m definitely going again and with more company next time around 😊 if you’re looking for simple but delicious and affordable this place is definitely for you

The best breakfast spot in downtown Halifax. Small and cozy and we actually stopped because during the winter we saw lines of people waiting to get in in the morning so we knew this place was good. It did not disappoint. We will be back for sure. The steak and eggs was amazing!

The waffles are SO GOOD!!! HIGHLY recommend! Service is super friendly, and the prices are great! There can be a bit of a line on Sundays, but that’s to be expected given the size of the diner.
