A well known older establishment in Halifax that draws a lot of regular customers.
It was my first time there. I had an omelet tell. I found it a bit dry.

Had a wonderful experience at Armdale Restaurant! The food has a real homemade, comforting feel — especially the rice pudding, which tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen. Cozy, satisfying, and delicious. The coffee was also really good and paired perfectly with the meal. A great spot for comfort food

Really enjoyed my visit to ArmView in Halifax. The food was amazing and full of flavor, and the customer service was just as good, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Great place to relax and enjoy a nice meal!

Had a grand breakfast at this restaurant. The eggs Benny were spot on. Great coffee and fantastic service. Needed a celiac meal, they were right on it ensure no cross contamination.

On a beautiful fall day, we were refused service on the patio because we had our Golden Retriever with us. Our waitress said we couldn’t be served because of “something about their food license.” The fact is patios in Halifax, as of March 2021, allow dogs on outside patios but they are not permitted inside food establishments. It is an individual owner decision to not allow dogs on a patio. Don’t have staff tell patrons stories if you choose not to allow dogs. If you aren’t dog-friendly just say so. And to customers, don’t try to bring your four legged friend here. We won’t be coming back.

Stopped in for dinner. Place was busy but moving We were seated quickly and staff were very helpful. Kitchen was super fast even though restaurant was full and lots of takeout heading out the door. Food was fresh and very tasty. Portions were good size and good value. Will visit again.

i always enjoy coming here!

the food is great with reasonable portions, reasonably priced and there is a variety of different options outside the traditional eggs, bacon/sausage and toast breakfast. there’s something for everyone if you’re craving something sweet, savoury or something else! the option of adding sides to like bacon, sausage, baked beans, toast etc is great too if you can’t decide :)

the other lunch and dinner items outside of breakfast are very reasonably priced and tasty :)
